That will save much of your time and money but still bring up to you enough relaxation and cares on places that not too easy to do it by yourself. Tour starts and finishes from Hanoi. 

Day1: Arrival: Hanoi  (L,D)

Our guide will meet you at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to your Hotel . Depart for Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Residence, One-Pillar pagoda Tran Quoc pagoda, Quan Thanh temple. After lunch, continue to visit Hanoi Hoa Lo prison and Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) - the first university of Vietnam or free time for shopping. Ride around Hanoi Old Quarter of 36 streets, enjoy dinner yourself at local restaurant Overnight in 4-5 star Hotel in Hanoi (M Hotel, Daewoo Hotel, Ze'phyr Hotel , Viet Hotel or equivalent).

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) 

After breakfast at your hotel , 8 :30 am : our guide & private car/van pick you up to depart from the capital for Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. Upon arrival, embark a boat for a cruise majestic Halong bay. Enjoy beautiful landscape of Halong Bay, naturally formed by islands and islets, explore natural caves or sunbathing. Enjoy lunch on board. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short break. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we will be met by captain and cruise and transferred to main Junk .Welcome on board of the: Indochina Sail (or Jasmine junk or Ginger Junk or Huong Hai Deluxe) and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at restaurant. If weather permits, a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night., Overnight on 3-4 star junk in Halong bay

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Sapa (B/S/-)

Rising to the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit.
06.30: Sunrise Tai chi on sundeck. Coffee or tea is served.
08.00: Visit splendid SUNG SOT grotto with a quick glimpse at the nearby fishing village.
09.00: Buffet breakfast while cruising back through Ha Long Bay to the pier.
10.00: Luggage pulls out. Clear all bills.
11.00: Arrive at the pier. Time to say Goodbye Halong. Transfer back to Hanoi, free for shopping or go walking around Hanoi Old Quarter, Have lunch yourself or free time for shopping before drive to Railway Station for night train to Laocai on Luxury train at 20:00 ( TSC, Livitrans, King Express, 4 berth cabin with A/C) 

Day 4: Sa Pa, Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai, Sapa (B, L, D):

 The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 6:30 am where your guide will welcome you. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa (about 1.5 hours). Check-in hotel. Breakfast then start the tour with 6 km transferred by jeep then walk on 2 km down to Lao Chai village, and close Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Lunch at a local family in Ta Van, all for you to discover their daily life, works and special custom, enjoy landscapes… Continue after through bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village of the red Dzao, visit a wonderful waterfall & a suspension rattan bridge on the way to the main road for a jeep to return to Sapa. O/N at the hotel in Sapa.

Day 5: Cat Cat & Sin Chai (B, L,-)

A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fanxipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a jeep to return to Sapa. Bus to Lao Cai Station to get night train back to Hanoi.

Day 6:  Hanoi Arrival - Hoi An (L, Flight,-)

Train stop at Hanoi train station about 5h00 am. Free time to have breakfast, till being picked up to depart for Danang (Hoi An). Your guide & car will pick you up at the Danang Airport  and transfer to the Hotel in Hoian. Free to have dinner on your own and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi an City and Myson Holyland ( B, L)

In the morning, take a private car from Hoi An Town to My Son Holy Land. Back to Hoi An for lunch. After the relax, it is light excursion to go around tiny town of Hoi An for city tour: 400 years old Japanese Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple, 200 years old Vietnamese former merchants' house. Tour end at about 16.30 pm. Hotel check out, guide and car will pick you up to transfer to Danang Airport for flight to the south of Vietnam or flight back to Hanoi  ( Saigon, Mekong delta tours are on request or return your home). Tour ends.
